Digitalabel offers the following substrate types.
Pressure Sensitive Paper is used for approximately 95% of all labels. Digitalabel automatically supplies pressure sensitive paper with a varnish or clear lamination to deter moisture and add visual depth to the label's design. High gloss, matte or satin finish varnishes are available.
Premium Paper Stock is most commonly used in the wine label industry. It may be a white matte or smooth surfaced, premium stock grade of paper with permanent adhesive. Laminations or varnishes may be applied to provide the extra appearance or durability.
White or Clear Plastic Films provide an absolute moisture barrier that can even be submersed. These substrates have a very high gloss appearance and greater resistance to abrasion. BOPP (bi-axially oriented polypropylene), vinyl or other exotic constructions also may be tested for use.
Metalized Papers and Films provide a rich gold or silver base stock that accepts most ink colors. Bronzing or burnished sterling effects can also be achieved with metalized papers and films.
Holographic Mediums can provide that differentiation and shelf appeal that brings your package to the forefront. Holography has been eagerly accepted in the world of rigid and flexible packaging. Film laminates are sandwiched in between printed film layers and provide dazzling effects.
